Jbetschart 80 posts Sep 26, 2008 2:44 PM	OK so Field House in Parker. They have two leagues for Coed. Rec on Sundays and Competitive on Wednesdays. Registration starts Nov 3-15 and games are Dec 3- Feb 17th. Both leagues are 6v6 so lets figure out how many we have and or need. I haven't played indoor in a few years but I know it is tiring. I'll be glad to set it up if we can agree on a league and team. My worry is rec is an intro to the sport for first time players. Tell me what you think. Jeff
Derek 3 posts Sep 26, 2008 2:55 PM	I vote for rec soccer on Sundays. Recreation leagues are fun, and you still get a great workout. It is tiring, we'd want at least 2 subs per game, preferably more. I'm not a goalie either.
csu_rammie 20 posts Sep 26, 2008 4:33 PM	My vote is for Sundays too. I called my companies apparel person and he can get us soccer jerseys with names and numbers for $15. He also can do nicer nike jerseys in our team color and each person can choose if they want to do a long sleeve or short sleeve with names and numbers at $18 for short sleeve, $24 for long sleeve.
DaveW 59 posts Sep 27, 2008 10:51 AM	I would be up for it. sundays are good. I used to be a great soccer player all thru elementry school. Jeff there is also a soccer place off of Jordan north of broncos and they have games all the time there. not sure of the name of it though. it is over by the rock climbing wall place

Sundays (afternoons for coed) at Parker rec for now. I woudl be glad to play goalie off and on. I would like to play the field also. On the turn you can wear running shoes or turn cleats they will both work fine. We will need a few more women. ***All Coed leagues will require that there are at least 2 females on the field at all times. If you do not have 2 women, you will play with 1 and play short 1 player… There will be two equal periods of 23 minutes with a running clock. Time can only be prolonged if decided by the scorekeeper or official. (the taking of a penalty kick, a set-up for a 1v1 shootout due to the six accumulated foul rule, player dismissal, or serious injuries)

I'm not saying that using a mix of 1 shot per orange works while the smell is masked by two ziploc bags. But I read an article about it in college once. Cost is around 550 a team so about 50 a person depending on how many actually sign up. If you see a name that is not playing please let me know! Irish ninjas would logically consist of: Black Jerseys with Green shamrocks -downside is we'd be charged setup/color costs which for 12 people would add about $9-10 per jersey! -upside, they'd look pretty sweet. OR Black Jerseys and we have to go out for post match drinks AND one of those drinks has to be Irish in spirit(Guinness, Killians Irish Red, Jamison, etc. etc.) -downside, bar tabs, liver destruction, watching Aaron and Scott 'spit game' at our waitresses -upside, it won't seem as cold out seeing as we're playing in Dec and watching Aaron and Scott spit game at our waitresses

With the Jersey decision I'd say majority rules and these are our best options: Lowest Cost: Solid Color T-shirt with Number $10 Low cost: Soccer Jersey cut in green w/ white accent, Black w/ white accent or Green w/ black accent AND your choice of number for $13 Middle cost: Soccer Jersey cut in Green with white sleeve stripes or Black with White sleeve stripes WITH Front logo and Back number $19 High Cost: Nike or Adidas Soccer Jersey in green or black(both have white accents) WITH back number and your choice of sleeve length. Long Sleeve $25, Short Sleeve $22 My vote is for the Adidas only because I wanna look like David Beckham and rock the long sleeves. Sara voted for the $13 one.

Do we have a goalie or are we going to have to swap out back there? Whatever jerseys we decide on remember that we are indoors so it will be a little warm.
