All-right Miles! I know exactly how you feel. That sinking, "My God... What have I done!" feeling.

Miles,

was the nausea from the pressure of finishing or the $500.00 you had to shell out a year in advance to compete in there event?

Right...2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, 26.2 mile run...crossing the finish line and hearing "MILES WILLIAMS you are an IRONMAN"....priceless!

Matt, didn't we discuss doing an Ironman in 2008?
Greg, I need a release from work. I think signing up will motivate me to start training again. besides, I owe Laura a dollar and plan to make it double or nothing.

We did Ray, but work has dictated otherwise. Not to mention having my @$$ handed to me at both 1/2IM's last season.

Have a great race you guys...I know you have all worked hard except Ray. :) He will survive on his Chai tea reserves! Safe travels to all and race hard, but most of all have fun. Don't be like me in Clearwater I got so emotional I was crying on the bike 2 different times...what a dip! Thank goodness for sunglasses...no joke. I was overwhelmed with excitement, energy wasted! Hopefully the pain will be minimal and the time will fly just like all of you! Happy times...sydney

chai tea don't fail me now.....or was it tai chi?
You're right Syd.....you are a dip. j/k

This season went by quick. Just like life.
((............insert profound statement here...........))

good luck all- Mark, Marty, Holly, Miles, Carla, Laura,
and Laura. You're about to do what only
a little percentage of the world has or
will ever do. Aren't we lucky to be able to
do this?

Good luck to all. You will have a blast - wish Charlie and I could be there to support. Drink, eat and watch the heart rate. I assume you all have been practicing your finish pose? Look forward to hearing the stories!
